As per an exclusive report covered by 90min, Man Utd are keen on signing the Norwegian international, who is a top priority for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Transfer: Man Utd prepared to agree fresh terms with their £190,000-a-week star – Report
The source have mentioned that the Red Devils consider offering Donny van de Beek in a player plus cash deal to sign a key player from Dortmund. It is stated that apart from Haaland, the likes of Sancho and Akanji are on the radar of the Old Trafford club as well.
Furthermore, 90min claim that Man Utd have made it clear to BvB that any deal could involve the Dutch international and the German side are welcoming the idea of luring the former Ajax midfielder.
Van de Beek was a star in the Dutch Eredivisie but since moving to the Red Devils, he has mainly warmed the bench under the management of Solskjaer.
So far, the 23-year-old star has only managed to start two games in the Premier League and he really should leave the club to play week in week out.
As far as Haaland is concerned, the former Salzburg striker is one of the best goalscorers in the world. He is definitely the best forward in the Champions League this term (leading with 10 goals in just 6 appearances). In all competitions, he has netted 49 goals in as many appearances for the Bundesliga side.
The 20-year-old’s current contract with Dortmund will expire in 2024 and he earns around £130,000-a-week (The Daily Mail). As per 90min, he is currently valued at over £100million. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming months.
Man.Utd should try and contact Tammy Abraham of Chelsea instead of waiting on so many others who are very good players and not so much eager to join Man.Utd., or that either those very good players are even having the influence of their agents who are concentrating on them where the big money game is concerned. Even Jadon Sancho should do it like we should not miss the opportunity again.
