Star agrees £150,000 a week deal to sign for Manchester United – Report

Manchester United need to reinforce their defense and reports suggest that a top center half has agreed to move to Manchester United.

According to Il Mattino, Man Utd offered a salary of 9 million euros a year (£150,000 a week) to Kim Min-Jae and the player has said yes.

The 20-time English champions are quadrupling his current wages to get the deal over the line.

The Italian news source have mentioned the Red Devils have made Napoli aware that they are ready to pay 56 million euros to activate the release clause to sign the South Korean center back.

Club president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, cannot come up with any counter offer and is resigned to losing his prized asset this summer.

The 26-year-old Asian star arrived at Napoli to replace club legend, Kalidou Koulibaly, and he has been immense in the Scudetto winning campaign under Spalletti.

This season, Man United’s first choice central defenders, Varane and Martinez, have spent a lot of time on the treatment table. On the other hand, Maguire has gone from bad to worse and Ten Hag must get rid of him.

Kim has helped the Diego Maradona outfit keep no fewer than 16 clean sheets in the Serie A this term and also directly contributed in 4 goals (2 goals and 2 assists).
