Manchester United remain heavily linked with Kim Min-Jae and the latest update is positive for the Old Trafford club.
A few days back, reports in the Italian media (GdS) suggested that Bayern Munich have passed United to sign the Korean, who would cost around 60 million euros (£51.3m).

However, as per today’s version of Corriere dello Sport (news image provided below), Kim has “something something more than a promise with Manchester United” to seal his move.
The Rome based media outlet have made no mention of the German champions in their report. They state the Asian star is set to be the first player to leave Napoli, who want a replacement.
The Serie A champions are looking for a player like the 26-year-old, who can consistently “sprint, shoot, shoot” or “run, run, run” and John Lucumi of Bologna is being targeted.
Under the guidance of Erik ten Hag, Man Utd were solid at the back last season but against top teams, they leaked a lot of goals. Liverpool scored 7 at Anfield and Man City found the net 6 times at the Etihad.
Unfortunately, first choice central defenders, Martinez and Varane, have been in and out of the squad due to injury concerns and that did not help the Red Devils.
On the other hand, bench warmer, Harry Maguire, was poor when given the chance last term. He might end up leaving the club.
In such a scenario, Man Utd should sign a top and fit center half and Kim, who was named the Serie A Defender of the Season, is one of the best around.
In your view, should United offer £51.3m to seal his signing?
Definitely should go all out for Kim. He is solid as a rock and what we need, as Varane is in and out with injuries.
