The Blues have already turned down an offer of £40m from the Red Devils and value their prized asset at around £70m.
The Old Trafford outfit’s £50m offer is expected to be their last move for the Three Lions playmaker, who will be able to leave on a bosman in the summer transfer window of 2024.
Mount can play on either flank, in the central midfield and also in the No. 10 role behind the main center forward. Ten Hag needs such a versatile talent in the squad.
On the other hand, the 20-time English champions are pushing to sign a quality center forward to improve the offense.
Ronaldo is already gone and the British media outlet claim that Martial and Weghorst are set to leave as well.
Ten Hag’s priority was to lure Harry Kane but after dropping the interest in luring the Tottenham superstar, it is reported that Man Utd will advance in their chase to sign Osimhen.
The African superstar, who won the Paolo Rossi award in the Scudetto winning season for Napoli, is valued at around £80m.
