Kim Min-Jae Napoli

South Korean center half, Kim Min-Jae, is set to seal a move to Manchester United if reports in the media are anything to go by.

Ending the trophy drought and earning Champions League qualification is a huge success in Erik ten Hag’s first season but he needs top quality players to take the team to the next level.

The Red Devils must splash the cash to strengthen the quality and depth of the squad this summer and Kim would be a top additon.

According to Il Mattino, the Napoli defender will go to Man Utd, who are also after star striker, Victor Osimhen.

The renowned Italian news source have mentioned that the Naples based side have made it clear the only way the 26-year-old will join United is if his £52.2m release clause is activated.

Kim is a 6 ft 2 defender, who is not only solid at the back but also productive in the attacking third. Moreover, he has the pace to keep up with the fastest of attackers around.

United have to let captain, Harry Maguire, leave and the Asian star could be the leader to replace the England international at Old Trafford.

Without his strong performances, Napoli would not have won the Serie A title after over three decades.

Man Utd splashed a lot of cash to sign Argentine center back, Lisandro Martinez, last year. Should they now offer £52.2m to lure Kim Min-Jae from the Italian champions?
