Manchester United are yet to make an approach for Bordeaux forward Malcom, according to The Manchester Evening News. The Brazil youth international is regarded as one of the Ligue 1 promising prospects, and he has contributed seven goals and four assists for Les Girondins this season.
A recent report suggested that United are in the running to sign the former Corinthians graduate with Jose Mourinho looking to reinforce his attack further during the winter transfer window. Since then, talks have only intensified with the Brazilian uploading a post on his Instagram, where he is seen taking English grammar lessons.
However, M.E.N claims that United have made no sort of contact with the French outfit, and they are not among the two unnamed clubs in the hunt for the highly-rated forward. Meanwhile, United are rumoured to have agreed on personal terms with the representative of Lucas Moura, but a transfer sum has yet to be finalized with Paris Saint-Germain.
Both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have performed their duties with good success on the left side of the attack this term, and the move for a new recruit has more to do with strengthening the right wing where the likes of Juan Mata and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have struggled to maintain consistency this campaign.
