Arch rivals, Liverpool, are currently in second place in the Premier League, only behind Arsenal due to inferior goal difference.
Therefore, among the PL suitors, the Anfield club should be the most attractive destination for Bremer but reports in Italy indicate that Man Utd have the edge to sign him.
According to Calcio Mercato, Man Utd have stepped up contacts in recent days, they are now in an advanced position and have moved ahead of PL rivals to lure the South American center back.
CM claim the 20-time English champions have made it clear they are ready to activate the release clause of £49.8million (58 million euros) to sign Bremer from the Bianconeri.
It is stated that the former Torino defender is not the only Brazilian on the radar at Old Trafford. Man Utd are even looking to lure Joao Gomes from Wolves to improve the midfield.
Juve are currently third in the table and will likely qualify for the next season’s Champions League.
On the other hand, United need to step up big time and start a winning run if they are to feature in the Europe’s prime competition.
