Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas has opened up on his recent discussion with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho which has spread speculation of a potential summer deal between the sides.
Mourinho has been linked with a surprise move for Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele after his impressive debut seasons with Les Gones last term and it appears that the speculation may have some truth to it.
During an interview with BeIN Sports, Aulas revealed that he had held a lengthy transfer decision with Mourinho but the 69-year-old refused the disclose the main topic during the meeting.

Ndombele had a strong season for Les Gones last term where they secured their long-awaited return to the Champions League and Mourinho is said to have identified the Frenchman as a replacement for the departing Marouane Fellaini.
On the other hand, there have also been claims that United could make a move for ex-Liverpool target Nabil Fekir or trigger the buy-back clause in Memphis Depay’s contract but neither look realistically possible with Mourinho previously highlighting that he has no interest of strengthening the attack during the summer.
