After a dry June, Manchester United fans can expect a busy July as far as the incoming transfers are concerned.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Red Devils have been trying to convince Danish international, Christian Eriksen, to move to Old Trafford and they have succeeded.

Transfer: Decision will see £73million star finally seal Man United move – Reports

The 30-year-old playmaker has accepted a three-year contract that will earn him £150,000 per week, £23.4million until 2025 (The Daily Star).

Eriksen was a superstar for Tottenham in the Premier League and since the 2013-14 season, only Kevin de Bruyne has provided more assists in the league than the former Ajax attacker.

Last season, he played for Brentford in the second half of the campaign and made an immediate impact. In just 10 starts, he scored a goal and provided 4 assists to help the Bees finish the season in 13th place.

The Denmark superstar could have moved to any Champions League club for free but as per The Star, United have persuaded him with a lucrative deal and the promise of improving the squad with quality signings.

After losing Paul Pogba for free, we needed a creative player, who can play in the central/attacking midfield and luring an experienced star like Eriksen on a Bosman is a great deal for the Old Trafford outfit.

Danny Murphy thinks that this deal should not excite Man Utd fans as the veteran attacker will only be a squad player (talkSPORT). Do you agree with the former Anfield star? Let us know.
