Manchester United continue to be linked with Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen, and reports indicate that they are already in contract to sign him.
According to a story covered by Corriere dello Sport (press image provided below), Napoli manager, Luciano Spalletti has built his team around the African striker. He would like to do the same next season.
However, the player is in high demand in England, and club president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, would sell him if the right offer is presented.
The Italian news source have mentioned that Man United have already made an approach to sign the 23-year-old striker.
As far as the price tag is concerned, it is stated that De Laurentiis has set the starting valuation at 110 million euros (£93million) and the figure is negotiable.
In the current campaign, thus far, Osimhen has featured in 31 games in all competitions for the Naples-based side, scored 18 goals, and provided 6 assists.
The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium outfit side have guaranteed third place in the Serie A and the former Lille man would like to end the season on a high when the team will face Spezia on Sunday. It could be his last game for the club
For Man United, Ronaldo has been the top scorer this term with 24 goals, after the legendary forward, Bruno Fernandes has found the net 10 times in all competitions. So, the Red Devils need more strength up-front.
Cavani is set to leave the club at the end of his contract next month. Do you think Victor Osimhen is good enough to replace the veteran Uruguayan?
