Manchester United cannot rely on Ronaldo and Cavani for the long term and they need a young out and out center forward in the summer transfer window.
As per reports going on in the media, Man United consider moving in to hire the services of French striker, Moussa Dembele.
According to a report covered by The Daily Mail, Man Utd are targeting the signing of the Lyon star, who will be out of contract in the summer of 2023.
The British news source have mentioned that the likes of Ronaldo and Cavani are considering exits and even Rashford is linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
In such a scenario, Man United want to strengthen their strike-force and Dembele could be lured for a fee of £25m. The 25-year-old rose to fame with Fulham before winning every major title in Scotland with Celtic.
He spent the last season in Spain and was part of the Atletico Madrid squad that won the La Liga title. However, he only managed to make 5 league appearances for them.
This term, he has been in and out of the Lyon squad due to injury concerns. So far, in 14 Ligue 1 starts, Dembele has netted 9 goals and provided 2 assists.
Have your say – Is Moussa Dembele good enough to improve the striking options at Old Trafford?
