Chelsea star N’Golo Kante’s future has been up in the air for some time and Manchester United are linked with the French international.
As per Tutto Sport, the Stamford Bridge outfit are looking for 60 million euros (£54million) to let the star midfielder leave the club and Man United could meet the demands of the Blues.
Transfer: Reports – Favorites Man Utd willing to offer £31.8million fee to sign star
On the other hand, the renowned Italian source have claimed that Inter Milan are interested in the 29-year-old star as well but first, they will need to sell to raise funds and even then the Nerazzurri would try to push Chelsea to bring the asking price down to 50 million euros.
So, if the reports are to be believed then the Red Devils have an edge to sign the Les Bleus midfielder over the Italian giants.
Kante won Leicester Players’ Player of the Year Prize being one of the most important players in their title winning 2015-16 campaign.
Moreover, the former Caen man was world class for Chelsea under the management of Conte, who won the Premier League in the 2016-17 season. Deservedly, the 41-capped international was the recipient of the PFA Player of the Year award.
He had an injury hit campaign last term under Frank Lampard in which he made 28 appearances in all competitions and scored 3 goals.
The £290,000 a week star (The Mail) is one of the best play breakers in the world and at the moment, United need to improve that position.
Nemanja Matic used to be a specialist play breaker for us but now, the veteran DM is not good enough and spends most of the time on the bench. Not sure why Solskjaer opted to agree a new three year deal with the Serbian international in July.
Our defense did well last season but we need a rock solid holding midfield star in front of the back four and Kante would be a top addition. In your view, should Man Utd offer £54million to sign him?
Obviously it wud be awesome…a total upgrade to matic and make united a compact team with a fabulous spine with lots of competition 😍😍
Yap! Kante can help us win the title this season.
