Manchester United are consistently linked with Sergio Reguilon and the latest reports suggest the Red Devils are favorites to secure his signature.

Sevilla had the left back on loan last season and he was key part of the team that lifted the Europa League/ UEFA Cup for the sixth time in their history.

Transfer: Man Utd would be ready to agree £87,000-a-week deal to secure signing – Report

According to Record, the Andalusian side’s priority is to sign Reguilon from the Spanish champions but Director of Football, Monchi, has accepted that it will be very difficult to hire his services.

The renowned Portuguese outlet claim that the problem for the La Liga club is that Manchester United are very interested and they are willing to offer a fee of 35 million euros (£31.8million) to sign the Spaniard.

Record claim that as an alternative, Sevilla are considering making a move for Argentine and Sporting CP defender Marcos Acuna.

On the other hand, Mundo Deportivo have also covered a similar story indicating that the Julen Lopetegui’s team are intensifying efforts to sign a left back but it is looking increasingly difficult to lure Reguilon.

The Spanish outlet claim that Man Utd are in pole position to sign the 23-year-old and Sevilla are finding it hard to compete with the economic potential of the Red Devils.

Therefore, the Los Nervionenses are looking at 28-year-old, Acuna, who has so far played 27 games for the La Albiceleste.

In your view, should Man Utd splash £31.8million to sign Sergio Reguilon from the Los Blancos?
