Man United could offer several options to sign £75million playmaker – Report

Jack Grealish goal vs Man Utd

Grealish to Manchester United is another transfer saga that has dragged on for far too long. The fans are now getting desperate to see the club lure at least one key signing before the start of the new Premier League campaign.

As per the latest reports going on in the media, Man United could offer several options to Aston Villa in order to sign their skipper in the summer transfer window.

Transfer: Man United could finally move to sign £53.7million forward – Face competition

According to The Mail, the Red Devils remain in contact with the Birmingham based side over a deal to bring the £75million star to Old Trafford.

The well-known UK based outlet have claimed that Man Utd could offer a number of players to Villa (on loan) to hire the services of Grealish. It is claimed that Dean Smith’s side are interested in the likes of Sergio Romero, Dean Henderson. Moreover, Diogo Dalot could be available as well.

Henderson signed a lucrative new deal yesterday and there is no need to loan out the English shot stopper again. In fact, I’d like to see him start ahead of De Gea next season.

As far as Grealish is concerned, the versatile attacker was Villa’s best player in the last campaign. He scored the highest number of goals and provided the highest number of assists in the team.

No player has been fouled more than the 24-year-old playmaker in a single Premier League campaign (19-20). Moreover, last season, he was the most creative English star (created most chances) in the top flight (The Mail).

He deservedly won the Man of the Match award at Old Trafford last term after scoring in style. He completely made De Gea look silly, who was left stranded in the goal.

Capable of playing in both the midfield and the attack, Jack Grealish would amplify the quality of the squad at Old Trafford. Can we get his signing done before the start of the PL season? Only time will tell.

  1. £75million star? Not in my opinion from what I’ve seen of him. He’s very inconsistent, and he offers nothing in the way of physicality compared to the likes of Bruno Fernandes. He has talent, but he needs to be more consistent and spend a bit more time in the gym to build himself up. Wan Bisakka is an excellent defender, but he needs help on the right side of midfield, and a year on he still can’t cross a ball properly. United need another Bruno on the right side of midfield and another Harry Maguire in defense – then they just need a proven goalscorer to be a serious threat to anyone in the premier league
