Transfer: Man Utd positive they’ll secure signing of £80million playmaker next year – Report

The Spanish source have mentioned that the youngster has been in Manchester since July and the Red Devils received authorization from UEFA in mid-August to register the player, who netted 60 goals in the last campaign.

It is further stated that there is a possibility that the above mentioned fee could rise if the 16-year-old makes his debut for the first team (El Periodico de Aragon).

Reports suggest that Manchester United beat off competition from European giants Real Madrid to hire the services of the teenage starlet, who normally plays on the right wing (The Mail).

Tge fact that even the Los Blancos wanted to secure his signature and he scored 60 goals last term confirms that he is seriously talented.

Solksjaer has focused on playing a young squad this season and starlets have excelled under his management. Tahith Chong made his Premier League debut for the club and recently, United lured Mejbri, who has so far done well for the U-18 side.

Let’s see how well Meija does for the Old Trafford club’s youth teams. Will he be able to earn his first team debut anytime soon? We shall see.
