Manchester United have done well under new boss Erik ten Hag in the current campaign but need major reinforcements in the summer to challenge for the title next season.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Red Devils are leading to secure the signing of Spanish playmaker, Gabri Veiga.

As per a recent report covered by The Mirror (news image provided below), Man Untied and Newcastle United lead PL sides to sign the Celta Vigo attacking midfielder.
The news source have mentioned that the 20-year-old starlet’s current contract has a release clause of £35million and the Spanish side are looking to double it.
Veiga broke into the first team this season and his deal with the La Liga club is due to expire in the summer of 2026.
The youngster can effectively play in the central midfield, right wing and No. 10 positions and has been highly impressive, especially under the management of new boss, Carlos Carvalhal.
So far, Veiga has started 17 games in the league for Celta Vigo and has directly contributed in 11 goals (8 goals and 3 assists).
It will be fair to say that Manchester United have wasted money on big money attacking signings like Jadon Sancho and Antony.
So, Ten Hag will have to adequately reinforce the offense next summer by signing a top quality striker and a versatile attacking midfielder.
In your view, should Man Utd spend £35million to sign Gabri Veiga?
Yes. We need players who are eager to make a name for themselves when given a chance. Veiga seems like one of those.
