Man Utd willing to pay £79.6m fee and treble wages to secure signing – Report

Camavinga Mbappe

Manchester United were able to lure Casemiro from Real Madrid last year. Next summer, they are looking to sign Eduardo Camavinga from the Los Blancos.

According to Spanish source, Nacional, Man Utd are willing to pay a fee of £79.6m (90 million euros) to hire the services of the French international.

The Catalan outlet claim the Red Devils intend to play the same cards that worked well in the signing of Casemiro.

The Old Trafford outfit are prepared to double or treble Camavinga’s wages and offer him a starring role in Erik ten Hag’s squad to convince him to complete the move.

In the presence of star midfielders like Kroos and Modric, the 20-year-old mainly warmed the bench last season. He only started a single game in Madrid’s CL winning campaign and just thirteen times in the La Liga.

Last summer, the European champions moved in to sign Aurelien Tchouameni to replace Casemiro. In such a scenario, Camavinga has once again been in and out of the starting XI this season. So far, he has made 13 starts in the league.

Hence, to play week in and week out, the youngster should consider leaving the Bernabeu outfit, who are chasing yet another midfielder in the form of Jude Bellingham (AS via Paisley Gates).

The former Rennes starlet was part of the Les Bleus squad that reached the final of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar last year.

His current contract is due to expire in 2027 and it is reported that Real Madrid would be willing to sell him if they receive a huge offer of 130 million euros.
