Transfer: Man Utd consider move to finally sign midfielder with £106million clause – Report
It has been reported (Fotospor) that the Super Lig club do not want to sell their prized asset in the middle of the campaign and value him at around 50 million euros (£42million).
The 25-year-old striker has been highly impressive in Turkey. Last season, in 34 league appearances, he netted 17 goals and also provided 8 assists for Caykur Rizespor.
He moved to Fenerbahce last year and as far as the current campaign is concerned, so far, the Kosovo international has directly contributed in 18 goals (13 goals and 5 assists) in as many starts (all competitions).
Muriqi made his senior international debut back in 2016 and has netted 8 times in 23 appearances for his country thus far.
Man United have not replaced Romelu Lukaku as yet and with Rashord out injured, they must sign a top striker before the closure of the winter transfer window tonight.
Vedat Muriqi’s performance in the Turkish league indicates that he has got a quality eye for goal but is he good enough to bang regular goals in the Premier League? We’ll only know if he ends up moving to England.
In your view, who should Solskjaer sign to strengthen his strike-force?
