France-Nkunku

Manchester United over-relied on Cristiano Ronaldo last season and keeping in view that attackers like Lingard, Mata and Cavani are set to depart, the Red Devils must strengthen the offense in the summer.

Yesterday, Sky Sports journalist, Florian Plettenberg, reported that the Old Trafford outfit could submit an official offer next week to hire the services of French playmaker, Christopher Nkunku.

Transfer: Report – Man Utd ready to agree fee to sign £85million versatile star

Today, Spanish source, Fichajes, have covered a story and claimed that Man United are prepared to bid over 60 million euros (£50.9million) to sign the player from RB Leipzig.

It is stated that new boss, Erik ten Hag, would do everything possible to secure the signing of the 24-year-old star, who has been in world-class form.

Nkunku is a versatile playmaker, he normally plays centrally as an attacking midfielder or a secondary striker (no. 10 role). Moreover, he has proved to be effective in wide attacking positions as well.

In the recently concluded campaign, the 2-capped international featured in 51 games for Leipzig and directly contributed in 55 goals in all competitions (35 goals and 20 assists).

For consistent top performances, the Les Bleus playmaker deservedly earned the award of the Bundesliga Player of the Season ahead of superstars like Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland.

Domenico Tedesco’s men finished the league in 4th place and will be playing in the UEFA Champions League next season. If Nkunku leaves the Red Bull Arena for Old Trafford, then he will have to take part in the Europa League.

In your view, do you think the former PSG man is good enough to improve Ten Hag’s attack?
