As per the latest reports going on in the Spanish media, Manchester United are heavily linked with Dutch international, Frenkie de Jong.
On Friday, Sport revealed that under the management of new boss Ten Hag, the Red Devils will move in with an offer to sign the Barcelona midfielder.
Yesterday, another Spanish outlet, Fichajes, reported that the Catalan giants would allow the 24-year-old to leave if they receive an offer of more than 86 million euros (£72million+).
The news source have mentioned that to lower the cash outlay, Man Utd are prepared to offer Alex Telles and Marcus Rashford to Barca, who are looking to lure a left-back and a forward to improve their squad for next season.
Telles is our second choice left-back and the Brazilian international has mainly started in the absence of Luke Shaw. This term, so far, he has made 17 appearances in the Premier League and provided 3 assists.
Rashford is having the worst season of his career and therefore, he has mainly warmed the bench. Thus far, the English forward has started 12 games in the PL and scored 4 goals.
In the central midfield, Matic will be leaving in the summer and Pogba could end up departing as well. Therefore, the department must be reinforced.
Ten Hag knows all about the qualities of Frenkie de Jong, who was an integral member of the Ajax squad that reached the last four of the European Cup in the 2018-19 season.
