Another day, another report, linking Serbian midfielder, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, with a move to Manchester United.
According to Il Messaggero, as relayed by Calcio Mercato, Man United are ready to make a bid worth £42.2million (50 million euros) for the Lazio star.

However, the renowned Italian news source have mentioned that club president, Claudio Lotito, will not sell the creative player for anything less than 70 million euros.
Milinkovic-Savic’s current deal with the Stadio Olimpico outfit will expire in the summer of 2024 but he has served the club for 7 years and now is the time for him to move to a bigger club.
The 27-year-old star has won one Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cup titles with the Biancocelesti and last season, he regularly scored and created goals from the midfield (11 goals and 12 assists).
The former Genk man is a top quality player but he has only made 7 appearances in the UEFA Champions League in his career thus far (2020-21 campaign).
If he stays with Lazio, he will not be able to take part in the top flight of European football next season. Even Man United can only offer him Europa League football.
Our prime midfield target, De Jong, does not want to move to Old Trafford due to lack of CL football. Can we convince Milinkovic-Savic to join? Only time will tell.
The Serbian was arguably the best midfield player in Italy last season. Therefore, I do not think that a bid worth £42.2million should be enough to hire his services. What do you think?
