Transfer: 29-capped star agrees contract to sign for Manchester United – Move close
Manager, Luciano Spalletti, has admitted that everyone would love to coach Cristiano Ronaldo and the Italian news source claim that super agent, Jorge Mendes, is pushing to take his client to the city of Naples.
The representative has already met with the agents of Osimhen, who will receive a written contract offer worth £42.5m (50 million euros – 10 million euros per year for 5 years) once United are convinced to invest a heavy fee.
In this complex deal, Ronaldo would move to Napoli and the Red Devils would pay 75% of his £23.5 million per year salary.
It must be remembered that the Old Trafford outfit have already agreed the most expensive deal of the summer worth 100 million euros for Brazilian winger, Antony.
Now, as per Tutto Sport, at least an amount of 120 million euros would be needed to sign the 23-year-old African center forward.
Last term, in 32 appearances, Osimhen directly contributed in 24 goals (18 goals and 6 assists). As far as the current campaign is concerned, the young striker scored a goal and provided an assist in the opening league game vs Hellas Verona.
Moreover, he found the net again on Match Day 2 to earn all three points for Napoli against Monza. Last night, the former Charleroi No.9 featured for 78 minutes against Fiorentina in a contest that ended 0-0.
Due to figures involved, the operation is complicated and it remains to be seen whether all parties can complete the deals before the transfer window shuts down on Thursday evening.
