Manchester United agree deal to secure £30million-rated star exit – Decision made

Manchester United could not have had the international break come at a worse time. The Red Devils are reeling from a 3-0 loss at the hands of bitter rivals Liverpool on home turf.

If ever there was a gut-wrenching blow, it was this.

Transfer: Report – Man Utd have held talks to immediately sign player, he wants £25.3million deal

One player who certainly did not come out from the game last Sunday smelling like a rose was Casemiro. So bad was his performance that Erik ten Hag had to hook him off at half-time in favor of 20-year-old Toby Collyer.

Understandably, the rumor mill has been in overdrive ever since, conveniently helped by the fact that the transfer window is still open in certain countries including Turkey. As per Turkiye Gazetesi, Man Utd have agreed to a deal to let Casemiro leave on a loan deal to Galatasaray.

The Brazilian legend started the season very well during the Community Shield and the first two games of the league season. However, 45 minutes of catastrophic performance has ensured that everyone forgets the good work of the games before.

Casemiro is valued at around £30million. The 32-year-old, according to the Turkish report, has turned down the opportunity to leave Man Utd despite the club accepting the offer from Galatasaray to take him on a loan deal.

With the transfer window already shut, even if the Red Devils let Casemiro leave now, they would not be able to replace him unless they jump into the free-agent market.

Yes, they do have Manuel Ugarte but the Uruguayan youngster is new to the Premier League and might require a period of adaptation.

Despite his dismal performance against Liverpool, Man Utd must keep faith in Casemiro. The 32-year-old is a serial winner and is experienced enough to turn this around.

Let’s see how the club goes about handling this situation in the months to come.
