The news source have mentioned that Man Utd agreed a contract that is going to make Eriksen earn £200,000 a week, £31.2million in the next three years.

Moreover, the Old Trafford outfit paid a signing-on bonus of £12million to ensure that the former Tottenham player ends up joining Erik ten Hag’s team.

Eriksen is a proven Premier League star, he was in the PFA Team of the Year in the 2013-14 campaign and consistently performed well for the north Londoners.

He was a key member of the Spurs side that reached the UEFA Champions League final in 2019 under the management of Argentine boss, Mauricio Pochettino.

So, returning to Tottenham would have been tempting for him. On the other hand, the 30-year-old was highly impressive for Brentford in the second half of the last campaign and even the Bees wanted him to return.

However, Man Utd moved in with a lucrative deal to get his signing done. After a slow start at Old Trafford, the versatile playmaker seems to have settled well under Ten Hag.
