The renowned Portuguese media outlet have mentioned that the Old Trafford side have midfielder, Neves, central defender, Silva, and right back, Aursnes, in their sights.
It is stated that Man Utd are considering ‘submitting offers’ for the Benfica trio after Euro 2024.
The combined worth of the Estadio da Luz stars is around £228million (270 million euros).
Joao Neves has a release clause of 120 million euros but Man Utd believe a cheaper deal can be agreed to secure his signature.
The 19-year-old defensive midfielder is targeted as the long term replacement of Casemiro, who was even left out of the Brazil squad for the Copa America after a poor season with United.
For the central defense, the 20-time English champions want to replace veteran Varane and Evans. In such a situation, Man Utd see Silva ‘as a leader’ to reinforce the backline.
Silva’s current contract contains a termination clause of 100 million euros.
To improve the fullback positions, United have targeted Norway star, Fredrik Aursnes. The 28-year-old can effectively play in both the RB and LB positions.
Last season, he scored 4 goals and provided no fewer than 12 assists for Benfica in all competitions. His deal with the Eagles has a clause of 50 million euros.
