At the stage of project that Man Utd currently find themselves in, they need to look at transfer targets who can come in and have an impact straight away but it would be an added bonus if they were versatile and can play in multiple positions.

What this does is allow Ruben Amorim to sign fewer players with better quality and the same player can be used in different kinds of roles as the situation demands.

Thus, it comes as no surprise that, as per Spanish source, Fichajes, the Red Devils are linked with Karim Adeyemi.

Adeyemi is one of the most talented young players in the Bundesliga at the moment and his career has threatened to take off on multiple occasions so far in recent seasons without really reaching the next level until now.

However, the versatile German attacker has been ever present for the club for some time now and it won’t be a surprise to see him move to a top European club outside of Germany ahead of next season. Could it be Man Utd though?

As per the report, Man Utd are best placed to secure the signing of Adeyemi. Capable of playing anywhere across the forward line, the German international is pacy, a good dribbler and also has the ability to find a finish.

In 23 games so far across all competitions, Adeyemi has scored 8 goals and provided 5 assists. These numbers a very decent but he has the potential for these numbers to consistently be in the double figures season after season.

In many ways, Adeyemi is the perfect inside forward in Ruben Amorim’s system and the £38million-rated star can occupy any of the front three roles in the 3-4-3 that the Portuguese tactician likes to deploy. Being naturally left-footed, one would assume he prefers to be on the right though.

At the price at which he is available, signing Adeyemi is a no-brainer for Man Utd. Let’s wait and see how this transfer saga plays out in the coming months and if the German finds himself in Old Trafford next season.
