Manchester United signed Sofyan Amrabat on loan from Fiorentina in the last campaign and still have an option to make his move permanent.

As per today’s edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Red Devils paid a fee of 10 million euros to lure the Moroccan international on loan last year.

Amrabat is missing Man Utd and is ready to secure a permanent move to Old Trafford.

GdS state the 20-time English champions still have time until July 21 to sign the Atlas Lions star from the Viola.

For the reason above, Amrabat, who has returned to Italy, has not been called up by Fiorentina to train and will not do so until July 21.

Gazzetta report the Serie A side could collect a fee of around £13m-£17m (15-20 million euros) should Man Utd decide to lure Amrabat on a permanent basis.

The 27-year-old was arguably the best play breaker at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and in all fairness, he was not given a proper chance at Old Trafford last season.

Casemiro was the preferred defensive midfielder, who had a season to forget, and Amrabat was only able to start 10 games in the Premier League.

In the last few fixtures, the Samba star was benched and the Moroccan was able to showcase his class. He was impressive in the DM role in the FA Cup final victory over Man City.

Man Utd are in the market for a new holding midfield star. Should they pay £13m-£17m to permanently sign Sofyan Amrabat?
