Manchester United created chance after chance against relegation threatened, Watford, but were unable to find the net.
If recent reports in the media are anything to go by then the Red Devils are interested in hiring the services of Turkish international and Inter Milan star, Hakan Calhanoglu.
Transfer: Man Utd told £46million would get playmaker signing done – Report
According to Inter Live, Man Utd could submit an offer worth 18-20 million euros to sign the 28-year-old playmaker who has been in top form for Nerazzurri this term.
The versatile star moved to the Italian champions on a free transfer from rivals AC Milan and the Italian news source have mentioned that Inter are not willing to sell him for less than 30 million euros (£25million).
Calhanoglu was a hit in the German Bundesliga and then impressed with the Rossoneri. Last season, he directly contributed in 21 goals (9 goals and 12 assists) in all competitions.
As far as this season is concerned, so far, in 22 Serie A starts, the 66-caped international has directly contributed in 15 goals (6 goals and 9 assists) under the management of Simone Inzaghi.
Calhanoglu mainly plays in the No. 10 role and that position is occupied by Bruno Fernandes at Old Trafford. The Portuguese playmaker has not been at his best this term and there is no one to cover for him since the club opted to loan out Van de Beek.
In your view, should Man Utd submit a bid to sign Hakan Calhanoglu in the summer transfer window?
