Manchester United have been interested in signing Leon Goretzka this summer and the latest update coming from Germany is intriguing.
Last month, Sport (via Bild) reported that the Red Devils moved in and offered a salary worth more than £196,000-a-week to sign the Kaiser, who is valued at £60m by Bayern Munich.

As per the latest update provided by Sport Bild’s Chief Reporter Tobi Altschäffl, Man Utd are still eager to hire the services of the midfielder from the Bavarians. The journalist tweeted:
“Kimmich’s clear future (new contract till 2026 will be signed soon) sends a positive signal to his colleagues. The talks with Goretzka were resumed and went very well: a quick agreement with the midfielder is now possible. Man United is still very interested in a Goretzka-Deal.”
The 26-year-old has won every prime domestic, continental and intercontinental prize with the Bundesliga giants and last season, he scored 5 goals and provided 7 assists in the title winning league campaign under the management of Flick.
At the European Championships, the former Schalke man started only a single game in the competition and scored only a single goal that eventually helped the Germans qualify for the Round of 16.
Man Utd have not strengthened their midfield for a very long time and Ole must move to sign a quality player this summer.
Leon Goretzka can effectively play as a creative central midfielder and also in the No.10 role if needed. In your view, should Man Utd offer £60m to sign him?
