Transfer: Confident Man Utd favorites to agree over £250,000-a-week terms to secure signing

Few days back, Tutto Sport covered a report and claimed that The Old Lady are looking for the new Pirlo and in such a scenario, they want to sign the 19-year-old midfielder, who could even cost 60 million euros (£54million).

The teenage starlet is defensive midfielder, who is dubbed as the new Andrea Pirlo in Italy. Man United were even linked with him last year (The Sun).

The Italian legend was a brilliant deep lying playmaker and Tonali has got similar traits. The teenage starlet directly contributed in 10 goals last term to help Brescia win the Serie B.

In his debut Serie A campaign, so far, the youngster has scored 1 goal and provided 5 assists in 23 appearances. He has already played three times for the senior international side and made his debut for the Azzurri last year under the management of Roberto Mancini.

The former Man City boss rates the versatile midfielder very highly and back in 2018, the 55-year-old manager said that Tonali is incredibly gifted (Goal).

We have discussed this several times on the site and will once again mention that Man Utd have been unable to strengthen their midfield in the past three transfer windows.

Fellaini and Herrera left last year and if they do let Pogba leave as well then the department must be heavily reinforced in the summer. In your view, should Solskjaer spend £54million to sign Sandro Tonali?
