Manchester United have been heavily linked with Aaron Ramsey and the latest reports going on in the media are intriguing.
United’s record signing Paul Pogba is linked with a move to back to Juventus and as per Tutto Sport (via Sport Witness), Ramsey could be the key to the French international’s return to Turin.
The renowned Italian source have claimed that Man United are interested in signing the Welsh international and have already made contact to hire his services.
Tutto Sport have mentioned that the Red Devils could not ask for more than 80 million euros for Pogba, on the other hand, Ramsey is valued at around 40 million euros (£34million). The Serie A champions would like to send the former Arsenal star to Old Trafford and also pay cash to lure the Les Bleus midfielder in a deal worth 80 million euros.
The 29-year-old star moved to the Bianconeri last summer after not renewing his contract with the Gunners. So far, he has only started 8 times in the league this term.
In all competitions, the 58-capped international has made 22 appearances for the Old Lady but still has not played for full 90 minutes in any fixture under Maurizio Sarri.
At the weekend, he featured for 73 minutes and scored the decisive goal to earn all three points for his team against SPAL.
Aaron Ramsey is a proven Premier League player, who can be deployed in multiple midfield and offensive positions. He has the quality and the experience to improve Man Utd’s midfield but it must be remembered that he will turn 30 this year.
Paul Pogba will turn 27 next month and in all fairness, a young midfielder should be lured to replace him at Old Trafford. In your opinion, who should Man Utd sign to replace the club’s record signing.
