Real Madrid star, Marco Asesnio, is heavily linked with a move away from the club and reports suggest that Manchester United have submitted an offer to sign him.
According to a story covered by Mundo Deportivo today (news image provided below), the Los Blancos star wants to play for Spain at this year’s World Cup and for that, he needs to play regular first-team football at the Bernabeu.

Asensio was mainly a bench warmer in the last campaign and the Catalan source have mentioned that the Spanish and the European champions cannot guarantee him a role in the starting XI next season.
The playmaker has two options. The first one is to leave this summer. It is stated that abroad, he has multiple offers on the table and one of them is from Man Utd.
MD claim that the Red Devils and Juventus are in pole position at the moment but the player is also on the radar of Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
The second option is to run down his contract and leave for free next year. Real Madrid have allowed players like Bale, Isco and Marcelo to leave on a bosman but they do not want the same to happen with 26-year-old Asensio.
So, the La Liga giants may opt to sell him this summer. As per reports, the attacker is valued at around £43m-£51m (Sport).
Asensio usually plays on the right flank but he has proved to be effective in the central attacking midfield position as well.
Last season, he scored 10 goals in 19 league starts, on the other hand, he only started 2 games in the Champions League, scored a goal, and provided 2 assists. In your view, is Marco Asensio good enough to improve the offense at Old Trafford?
