If reports in the media are anything to go by then Manchester United are linked with RB Leipzig’s Emil Forsberg.

Transfer: Man Utd pushing to secure early signing of £70million attacker – Report

The renowned German outlet have mentioned that the likes of Man Utd, Tottenham, Everton and Leicester have the chance to sign him in the summer.

Forsberg used to be a regular starter for Leipzig but this season, he has often warmed the bench under the management of new boss Julian Nagelsmann, who has mainly preferred Nkunku in his starting XI.

The former Malmo attacker is mainly a left winger but he can effectively play in the central attacking midfield role as well.

So far, the 28-year-old attacker has started 16 games in all competitions for the German club, scored 9 goals and also provided 4 assists.

As far as the international career is concerned, so far, the playmaker has made 49 senior appearances for his country and scored 8 goals. He was a regular starter for Sweden in their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign.

At Old Trafford, United do need to improve the quality and depth of their attacking department but in your view, is Emil Forsberg good enough too strengthen Solskjaer’s squad? Should Man Utd splash £17million to agree his signing?
