Man Utd’s woes this season continued at the Goodison Park against Everton with the Red Devils only managing to secure the single point from the fixture.
It was a game that Ruben Amorim’s team looked on course to lose but managed to salvage thanks to late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte.
News – Report – Man Utd ready £66million offer to sign proven star
The Red Devils are 15th in the Premier League table at the time of writing and are much closer to the relegation places than being in the top half. For a club as prestigious as Man Utd, all this does not make for good viewing.
With this league season almost done and dusted from the Red Devils perspective, it is time they start planning towards the future.
Keeping that in mind, as per La Gazzetta Dello Sport (news image provided below), one player on Man Utd’s radar is Juventus teenager Kenan Yildiz.
As per the report, Juventus might be forced to sell one of their most promising talents in the summer should they fail to qualify for Champions League football and Man Utd will have to agree a fee of around £66m-£75m to sign him.
Yildiz has growing interest from the Premier League with teams like Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea also interested. This current campaign has been a breakthrough for him in many aspects and he seems ready to make the move to a top club.
The 19-year-old is capable of playing anywhere across the front line but has predominantly played off the left so far this season. He has played 37 games across all competitions, scoring six goals and providing five assists.
In recent seasons, Juventus have either been forced to sell or opted to sell some of their most talented youngsters in exchange for a winning project (that hasn’t worked out yet). Take Dean Huijsen for example, who has been making waves in England.
It remains to be seen if they make Yildiz available for sale. Even if the Turkish international was to move in the summer, he might not be willing to join Man Utd compared to the other teams on the list. Let’s wait and see how things play out going forward.
