Transfer: Man Utd told £35million offer would be accepted – Report

Reporter Harry Pratt has revealed that Man Utd are determined to make Sancho their marquee summer signing.

It is claimed that the 20-time English champions have been linked with Erling Haaland as well, but the Norwegian center forward is going to cost £150million, therefore, they are hoping to hold on to star striker Edinson Cavani, who has been in impressive goalscoring form this season.

The Star mention that luring a proven quality winger is the major objective and the Europa League finalists believe a move worth £80million would be enough to secure Sancho this year. Last year, Borussia Dortmund were demanding £100million for their prized asset.

Yesterday, the 21-year-old scored two goals, which included an 87th minute winner against RB Leipzig. With that victory, BvB have moved up to occupy the final Champions League qualification spot.

In all competitions this term, the 18-capped international has directly contributed in 32 goals in as many starts for the German Bundesliga side (Transfermarkt). At Old Trafford, only Bruno Fernandes has got a better goal scoring/creating record than the ex Man City player. For the latest updates on the transfer saga, watch this space.
