Andre Silva Portugal

Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani has been in sensational form recently and in all fairness, his stay at Old Trafford should be extended.

However, the veteran South American center forward is not going to serve the club in the long run and therefore, Solskjaer should sign a natural No.9 to secure the future.

Transfer: Man Utd demand signing of £26million star in a swap deal – Report

The Red Devils are linked with several top strikers and one of them is Portuguese international and Frankfurt start Andre Silva.

As per a recent report covered by Frankfurter Rundschau, the 25-year-old in form striker is heavily linked with a move away from the Bundesliga side and he could be playing for Man Utd or any other top foreign club next season.

The news outlet have claimed that the German club value him at £35million and an offer close to the asking price would likely be accepted for his sale.

In the current campaign, the 38-capped Seleccao star has so far featured in 31 games in all competitions under the management of Hutter and directly contributed in no fewer than 35 goals (26 goals and 9 assists).

In the last 7 league outings, the former AC Milan striker has scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists for Frankfurt, who will qualify for the next season’s UEFA Champions League if they win their remaining three Bundesliga fixtures. Tomorrow, they will host Mainz.

In your view, should Man Utd make a £35million offer to sign Andre Silva in the next transfer window?
