Manchester United played their first game in the Ruben Amorim era last night. Although the game petered to a 1-1 draw, there were some signs that looked promising for the Red Devils.
The team made a blistering start to the game with Marcus Rashford finding the back of the net but since that moment, United hardly created anything throughout the game and would perhaps have to thank Andre Onana for his heroic efforts.

It will take some time for Amorim to instil his ideas into the Manchester United team, especially in the absence of a pre-season. However, the Portuguese tactician seems to be working towards making new acquisitions to the squad.
Now, as per Bernabeu Digital, Man Utd have held talks to sign Real Madrid midfield superstar Eduardo Camavinga but the player has decided to stay put with Los Blancos and said NO to the Red Devils.
The French international currently earns around £200,000 a week at Real Madrid. He is a regular starter under Carlo Ancelotti whenever fit and it makes a lot of sense for him to continue his promising career in the Spanish capital.
It remains to be seen if Manchester United now look at other midfielders. Why they want a profile like the Les Bleus star in midfield is a question mark and it remains to be seen how Dan Ashworth responds to this disappointment.
In all fairness though, Man Utd are unlikely to have been optimistic about their pursuit of the Eduardo Camavinga and they do not really need a new DM having already signed Ugarte.
It would have been a huge surprise had the former Rennes midfielder said yes and let’s wait and see how this plays out.
