Manchester United were looking to strengthen their right back position in the summer transfer window and Kieran Trippier was heavily linked. In the end, the Reds held on to Dalot and did not sign anyone new.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Old Trafford outfit are once again in search of a right back and this time, French international Nordi Mukiele is in the focus.

According to Defensa Central, the Red Devils have entered the race to hire the services of the 23-year-old fullback from RB Leipzig.

The Spanish news outlet have stated that Man Utd are in combat with the likes of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain to secure the signing of the Les Bleus defender, who is valued at 25 million euros (£21.4million).

Mukiele is a versatile talent. Apart from playing in his natural RB position, the youngster can also play in the central defense and even as a right winger if needed.

In the last campaign, he featured in 40 games for the German Bundesliga side under the management of Julian Nagelsmann and directly contributed in 6 goals.

This season, so far, he has scored a goal in the league and provided an assist in the Champions League.

Manchester United have Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot as far as the right back position is concerned. Do you think, they need to improve the position? Should Ole splash £21.4million to sign Nordi Mukiele?
