If reports in the media are anything to go by then Manchester United are once again linked with Serbian international and Lazio star, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
According to Calcio Mercato, the 26-year-old central midfielder is preparing for his departure after spending over 6 years with the Serie A side, who will only let him leave if they receive an important offer.
The Italian media outlet have reported that Man Utd have been in concrete contact with the representatives of the player in recent weeks and their movements will be observed with great attention.
The 28-capped international still has two and a half years left on his contract with the Biancocelesti and Calcio Mercato claim that currently, he is valued at 70 million euros (£58million).
Milinkovic-Savic has been in fantastic form for Lazio under the management of former Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri. In 18 league starts this term, the former Genk midfielder has netted 7 goals and provided as many assists from the center of the park.
In the last Serie A contest vs Empoli, the Serbian netted a brace and also provided an assist, still, it was not enough to earn all three points.
As far as the current season is concerned, the likes of Pogba, Fred, McTominay and Matic have only scored 3 goals combined, therefore, it is evident that Man Utd seriously lack creativity in the midfield department.
In such a scenario, do you think Man Utd should offer £58million to finally sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic?
