Manchester United are linked with a number of central defenders and once again, the name of Jean-Clair Todibo is in the focus.
The Red Devils were looking to sign the French international in the summer transfer window but he opted to stay with Nice.

More recently, Florian Plettenberg, has revealed that Man Utd remain in hunt to finally sign Todibo in the winter transfer window.
The renowned Sky Sports journalist wrote on his X Account:
“Jean-Clair #Todibo, understand that he remains a candidate for Man Utd in winter! #MUFC. A possible transfer of the 23 y/o should not affect a transfer of António #Silva who is still the top target fur summer!”
Last month, Sport, revealed that signing the Les Bleus defender, is one of the big objectives at Old Trafford and he could cost around £34million (40 million euros).
The Catalan media outlet reported that Todibo is also on the radar of Spanish champion, Barcelona.
In 12 starts thus far, the former Toulouse defender has helped Nice keep no fewer than 9 clean sheets in the league this season.
Erik ten Hag’s men are currently seventh in the Premier League table and bottom of their Champions League group.
Man Utd need reinforcements at the back on immediate basis and should splash £34million to sign the 2-capped Frenchman. What do you think?
