If reports in the Italian media are anything to go by then Manchester United are leading the race to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina.
Ten days ago, we covered story from Italy stating that the Red Devils have agreed a contract with the play breaker’s entourage.

As per today’s version of Corriere dello Sport (news image provided below) Man Utd are in ‘pole position’ to seal the signing of Amrabat.
The Rome based media outlet have mentioned that the Moroccan international will be sold as soon as the best offer arrives.
CorSport claim Atletico Madrid have been interested but they have economic difficulties and will not be able to afford the 26-year-old defensive midfielder.
‘In all probability’, the best offer will arrive from the Premier League with Man Utd leading the charge to reunite Amrabat with Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
As far as the asking fee is concerned, Fiorentina want £26m (30 million euros) and no less to offload the African, who was one of the best stars at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
To replace their prized asset, the Serie A side are surprisingly looking at the option of signing Arthur Melo from Juventus.
The Brazilian international only made a single senior appearance for Liverpool (on loan) in the last campaign and spent majority of the time on the treatment table.
Man Utd have a world class DM in the form of Casemiro but there is no one good enough to cover for the Samba star when he is out (suspended or injured). The veteran will turn 32 next year.
In such a scenario, should United offer £26m to sign Sofyan Amrabat?
