Now, as per GiveMeSport, Man Utd are interested in signing Rosenberg wonderkid Sverre Nypan. The 17-year-old has caught the eye with some smart performances that bely his tender age and has previously claimed that it would be a dream to move to Old Trafford.
A central midfielder who can also play as an attacking midfield, Nypan has 7 goals and 7 assists in 28 games across all competitions.
The player has a contract until 2026 and this could give Manchester United a chance to get a deal on him.
The report claims that United will need to bid in the region of around £84m to sign the teenager. Now, that is certainly not the kind of amount the Red Devils would even entertain for an unproven talent.
The Norwegian wonderkid has played four times for his nation at the U-21 level. If he continues at a similar rate, it is only a matter of time before he finds himself playing in the same team as Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard.
However, Man Utd should only make this deal for Sverre Nypan if it comes at favorable terms. They must not spend the quoted money on the teenager and let’s wait and see how it goes.
