Another day, another story about Eduardo Camavinga, who is heavily linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

As per the latest reports going on in the media, Man Utd are leading the race and pressing to secure the signing of the 18-year-old midfielder.

Transfer: From Italy – Man Utd agree £47million fee with club for signing

According to Marca, the teenage sensation does not want to extend his contract with Rennes hoping that the Ligue 1 side will drop the asking price to sell him this year to avoid him from leaving for absolutely nothing next year

The Spanish source have claimed that for now, the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain do not see luring Camavinga as a priority and therefore, Man Utd are in pole position to hire the services of the youngster.

It is further mentioned that the Red Devils would make an offer of about 25 million euros (£21million) for the French international.

On the other hand, as per a report covered by Fabrizio Romano for The Guardian, Man Utd are progressing and stepping up their chase to get the signing done. The famous journalist has stated that Rennes are open to selling their prized asset for a fee of 30 million euros (£26million).

So, if reports are to be believed then Man Utd would make an offer that won’t be far from the French side’s asking price. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to reinforce the midfield department by bringing in a solid defensive midfielder and Camavinga could be that guy.

We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming days and will keep you updated.
