From Italy – Man Utd agree £47million fee with club for signing

Varane-France

Lately, reports in the Spanish media have heavily suggested that Varane would be moving to Old Trafford. Last night, we covered a story (via ABC) claiming that the French international has agreed personal terms with Manchester United

Today, news published by a famous Italian source suggests that now, Man Utd have agreed a fee with Real Madrid to secure the signing.

Transfer: Man Utd have to secure signing of £100million star, who wants OT move

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport (press image provided below), the 28-year-old central defender is going to leave the Los Blancos and he has said goodbye.

The renowned media outlet have mentioned that everything is done between Man Utd and Real Madrid. The Spanish giants will receive a fee of 55 million euros (£47million) and Varane will be Solskajer’s new signing.

The rumors should delight the Old Trafford faithful but they must wait for official confirmation. If the report covered by GdS turns out to be true then it would be a massive signing for Ole.

£47million fee should be considered a huge bargain for someone who has won the World Cup and four Champions League titles.

In Spain today, Sport have reported that returning manager Carlo Ancelotti has requested to keep Varane but it is highly likely that the Les Bleus star will leave because he has everything ready to seal a move to the 20-time Premier League champions.

This might turn out to be one of the most exciting transfer windows for the Red Devils supporters. Man Utd have already secured a top player in the form of Sancho, on the other hand, Varane, if signed, would be a world-class capture.
