Transfer: Favorites Man Utd believe they’ll finally secure signing of £130,000-a-week star

According to Marca, the Old Trafford outfit are in the race to lure the Spanish playmaker, who was brilliant for the German Bundesliga side in the last campaign and even proved to effective at the European Championships.

On the other hand, Todo Fichajes claim that Man Utd are leading the likes of Barca and Juventus to secure the signing of the La Roja attacker because the Catalan giants and the Old Lady do not have the financial power to afford him.

£60million-rated Olmo (The Mirror) is a versatile playmaker, who can be deployed on either flank but naturally, he plays in the central attacking midfield role. Last season, he directly contributed in 19 goals for Leipzig in all competitions.

At Euro 2020, the 23-year-old started three games for Spain under the management of Luis Enrique and provided as many assists. Unfortunately, the 2010 World Champions were ousted on penalties by Italy.

At Old Trafford, Man Utd already have the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek for the No.10 role and the former is absolutely irreplaceable in the starting XI.

In such a scenario, there is no need for Ole to sign another CAM in the form of Dani Olmo. Instead, the Norwegian manager should sign a natural CM to improve things in the midfield. What do you think?
