Man Utd line up move to sign £35million Liverpool target – Report

Old-Trafford

Manchester United have mainly used Diogo Dalot in the left back position this season because Luke Shaw has been out injured, yet again.

The injury prone England international has been our first choice LB for years and it is time to find a replacement, someone who will not spend considerable time on the treatment table.

As per The Sun, Man Utd are lining up a move to sign Antonee Robinson from Fulham to finally solve the conundrum.

The American international is valued at £35million and he has been on the radar of Liverpool, who have been looking to reinforce the LB position to replace veteran Robertson.

The Sun claim that Robinson was valued at £35million, but now, he could be bought by Man Utd for £30million.

In all fairness, the Cottagers would not offer any sort of a discount on the 27-year-old, who is one of the most important members of the squad, has a contract until 2028 and featured for 90 minutes in all three Premier League games this season.

Robinson was impressive against Man Utd in the opening league game and could have bagged himself an assist if the Fulham players were clinical in front of goal.

In the second Premier League contest vs Leicester, the former Wigan defender set up the winning goal of the game.

Moreover, yesterday, he provided the crucial assist to earn a point for the London club against newly promoted Ipswich Town.

Have your say – Should Man Utd get rid of Luke Shaw, who only made 12 appearances in the league last term, and sign Antonee Robinson to replace him at Old Trafford?
