Manchester United have been heavily linked with Jadon Sancho but he is not the only right winger on the wish-list of the Old Trafford club.

If the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then the Red Devils are interested in hiring the services of Italian international and Sassuolo attacker Domenico Berardi.

Transfer: Man Utd eager to finally secure signing of £35million star – Report

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport (press image provided below) Man Utd have made contact to sign the Azzurri star, who is valued at 50 million euros (£42.8million) by the Serie A side.

The Italian news source have claimed that the 20-time English champions have knocked on the door and made notable inquiries to lure the 26-year-old winger, who has been in sensational form lately.

GdS claim that to step up in his career, Berardi, who is the captain and the highest paid player at Sassuolo, needs to leave the club and the Premier League could be his next destination.

He directly contributed in almost 40% of the total goals scored by Sassuolo in the league last season. The Italian started 28 games in the Serie A, scored 17 goals and provided 8 assists. In the last 8 league games, the 12-capped international scored as many goals to help his side finish 8th in the table.

As far as his senior international career is concerned, so far, in 7 starts, he has scored 5 goals for the four time World Cup winners. In the last friendly contest before the Euros, he found the net vs Czech Republic. More importantly, in the opening Euro 2020 game vs Turkey, he provided the cross that led to the opening goal (own goal scored by Demiral) for Italy.

In your opinion, should Man Utd splash £42.8million to sign Domenico Berardi?
