Manchester United remain heavily linked with Sofyan Amrabat and as per reports in the Italian media, they have finally made a bid to sign the Moroccan.
According to Il Messaggero, Saudi club, Al-Ahli are trying to lure the African star from Fiorentina despite the fact he has already has an agreement with the Red Devils.
The Rome based news source have revealed the former Feyenoord play breaker has asked the Viola to sell him this summer.
It is reported that Man Utd have tabled an offer worth £21.5m (25 million euros), on the other hand, the Serie A side continue to ask for a figure of £30m (35 million euros).
So, Ten Hag’s team need to raise the offer by £8.5m to reunite the defensive midfield star with the Dutch manager.
When asked about his future, Amrabat has lately said (via Tutto Mercato Web):
“I don’t know if I’m leaving, I might as well stay,”
Fiorentina have already lured a new No.6 in the form of Brazilian international, Arthur Melo, on loan from Juventus.
It is likely that the Florence club would eventually give in and sell their prized asset as they will not prefer to lose the 26-year-old on a free transfer next year.
Man Utd do not need to rush for the signing of a DM and must offload the not so important players before getting Amrabat.
