According to an exclusive story covered by The Sun, Man Utd are plotting a £25million move to secure the signing of Goncalo Ramos from SL Benfica.
The British news source have mentioned the 21-year-old striker is a wanted player as clubs like Bayern Munich and Newcastle United are also after him.
It is stated that the youngster has a release clause of £100million in the contract, he is currently rated at £25million and Man Utd would not pay above that.
In the last campaign, he mainly played as a secondary striker behind out and out forward, Darwin Nunez, and scored just 7 goals in 29 Liga Nos appearances.
The Uruguayan international joined Liverpool in the summer transfer window and this term, Ramos has played in his preferred No.9 role and excelled big time. In all competitions, thus far, he has made 12 appearances and directly contributed in 13 goals (8 goals and 5 assists).
The Eagles forward is yet to make his debut for the senior national side. So far, he has played 18 games for U-21 Portugal side and scored 14 goals.
