Manchester United were after Denzel Dumfries in the winter transfer but could not complete his signing due to lack of funds.
Now, as per a story covered by Football Insider, Man Utd are plotting a new move to finally lure the Inter Milan star in the summer transfer window.

The news source have mentioned that Erik ten Hag is a massive admirer of the Dutch international and is keen on signing him.
It is stated that Inter Milan have financial difficulties, have to raise funds and could accept a fee of around £50million.
Dumfries mainly plays in the right back role and has proved to be effective as a right sided midfielder for the Nerazzurri.
At Old Trafford, Portuguese international, Diogo Dalot, has been Man Utd’s first choice right back. On the other hand, in the backup, they have former Crystal Palace defender, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The duo have put in solid defensive performances for the Red Devils but they have not been effective in the attacking third.
Dalot has directly contributed in 8 goals in over 90 appearances and AWB has scored 2 goals and provided 11 assists in 146 games for the Old Trafford outfit.
Ten Hag needs a fullback who can regularly contribute in the attack and Dumfries is one of the best options around. He scored 5 goals and provided 7 assists last season and has already directly contributed in 8 goals in the current campaign.
The 26-year-old star impressed for the Netherlands at the FIFA World Cup last year. In your opinion, should Man Utd move in with a £50million bid to sign him?
He would definitely be an upgrade on Dalot, and maybe Wan Bissaka who is a good defender but lacks the attacking flair. However, my first choice would be Frimpong who is extremely quick.
